Chargers’ Linebacker Shaun Phillips Support After-School All-Stars
Chargers’ Linebacker Shaun Phillips announced his sponsorship of After-School All-Stars Sports Club programs. At the After-School All-Stars Open House celebration on September 13th, Phillips announced that he would donate $1000 to the program for every sack he earns. He challenged local companies to match his sponsorship and three have joined him: The UPS Store, Carrows Restaurant, and Coco’s Restaurant & Bakery. Jump for Life event a success!
The 3rd Annual Jump for Life Celebrity Waiter event was a huge success this year, raising over $250,000. Nearly 300 people gathered at Pamplemousse Grille in Solana Beach and were served dinner by several Chargers and Padres players.
